I've seen tons of pics of the ebay bezel and it looks great, and appears to give you some wiring and mounting solutions that I couldn't get if I chopped up my own cdr24. However, I was hoping that someone had engineered another solution that was a little less spendy. I'm only paying $500 for an avic d3 after the rebate, it aggravates me to pay $350 for the bezel. Any help is appreciated. Joe Clark

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am in the same boat as you. I bought the canbus adapter as well. Shipped today. $615 for both kits. But, I figure that is still less money than i would have spent for installation, the trim piece looks better than what your average installer could whip up, and it makes your install easily reversible because you are not splicing into the car.
Where did you order the canbus adapter from? Joe Clark
same people. Just click to go to their ebay store and you can find it. I think it is $250. Ask them to invoice you and they will only charge you one shipping fee.
Hey, I read a post where you changed out the head unit in your car, and you bought the bezel & CANBUS adapter from the guys on eBay. Did the CANBUS adapter work correctly for your installation? I'm getting ready to start an installation pretty soon, and am curious if all of the output leads really helped. I was looking at a CANM8-NAV, is that the one you used? Also, I have a 6 speed, so I'm wondering if the reverse lead worked, since I've heard that it doesn't on some manual gearbox cars...wasn't sure if you had manual or auto. Thanks, Bryan
