Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Right guys, I have just got my PCM head unit (997.642.143.10) I have some questions before I install I have Bose in my car, and this is the correct unit for a Bose Equipped car, Will the MOST cable on the current CDR-24 be suitable for the above or do I need a new one? I am not installing the Navigation module or Phone features, will this cause issues? The unit is Dated 30/06 (30th week 06) My car is May 2007 - will it work ok? And finally - will this unit play MP3 Discs? Thanks guys

Everything should work fine, the current MOST cable will be fine and it should play mp3's. You won't have any issues if you don't install navigation or phone features. You may need to take it into the OPC for programming your car to the new unit, but doubtful if it came out of a Bose car already. You may want to take it in anyways for the latest firmware update.
