Initially developed in 2004, over 13 years of continual improvement has given birth to the top quality race headers we sell today. Fabspeed’s founder and owner, Joe Fabiani , bought a 987 and personally Dyno developed all of the headers with and without catalytic convertors, maxflo exhaust systems, tips, and tie downs. While developing and improving our Race Headers we have directly applied expert feedback from PCA Driver’s Education members, PCA and POC Club Racers, Cayman ITC Pro Racers, and Professional Racers in Koni and IMSA Continental . Fabricated from e qual length T304 stainless steel, C.N.C. mandrel bent header pipes for equalized engine pulsing and maximum exhaust flow. F1/NASCAR style high velocity merge collectors improve exhaust scavenging , giving a dramatic improvement in horsepower and torque throughout the RPM range. Our system fits all Porsche 987 vehicles worldwide, and is a direct bolt-on installation which requires no welding or cutting. All the hardware necessary for installation is included.
