Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Looks like they just cut the factory bumper, dont know what exhaust would work and my wife wouldnt be happy if I spent $11,000.00 on the Techart exhaust. I know Gembella has it. I dont see why I couldnt just cut the oem bumper. I am doing the tinted headlights

POST 2Original post

Looks good. But...what's next? Ferrari Enzo bumper mod?

POST 3Original post

those headlights aren't tinted. they're black housings

POST 4Original post

the black housings dont have the reflective part around the bulbs dark, im pretty sure it is the light smoke lens kit.

POST 5Original post

Look I am a Cayman Specialist, Certified by the Cayman club, see that under my name. I know what I'm talking about I have also been tinting cars for 12 years (since Highschool) installing clearbras for 5 years (since I purchased my audi)

POST 6Original post

You could cut OEM bumper and Capristo offers an exhaust for the Cayman that comes out left and right as opposed to center because as you can see you need something that comes out left and right for that Carrera GT style rear end. Not sure how much teh Gemballa piece is, probably not cheap. I wouldn't tint headlights, why cut down on the amount of light hitting the road?

POST 7Original post

I am not going to do the tint as dark. I would be half of what the pic shows.

POST 8Original post

so what rear lower insert/splitter is that? also what lower front bumper wings? i too am doing this look to our white cayman...even the wheels....good thing you live on the other side of the country marc

POST 9Original post

Whoa, I really like that front end treatment! Is that a Techart front end?

POST 10Original post

what kit is that? never seen anything like that.

POST 11Original post

This is the RSR911 kit everyone. There was a group buy set up with them a while back. The front lips, the bumper, the diffuser....its all RSR911 out of Italy. Ken would remember this group buy because he loved the lips so much and he wanted to get some of the seats they were selling Cayman Club | CaymanGT

POST 12Original post

what kind of wheel is that? reminds me of the CSL wheels on E46 M3

POST 13Original post

^^Neez wheels. The other thread with pictures of this car is from the Neez booth at some auto salon and yea...they do look like the M3 Competition Package wheels

POST 14Original post

you already cut your front bumper, why not cut the back one also  and the headlights don't look like black housing it looks more tinted. If it were black housing, I'd think it would look more clear/ less cloudy
