Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need some help in a hurry. I'm supposed to swap out the 18 carreras on my totaled car tomorrow. I thought I had some wheels lined up, but that person won't give me a call back so that I can pick them up. If I can't get this done quick, I'm going to miss out on the chance to keep the 18" wheels. Here is what I'm trying to do. I want to "borrow" a set of cheap 17" boxster wheels. I'll swap them for the 18" carreras. Then when I get my new car, if it has 17"s on it, I'll swap them for the ones I saved, and give you back the 17"s. If it has 18" carreras then I'll give you the 18"s that I saved, no charge. Can someone help me out quickly? Thanks. Tony

What do I drive on while my wheels are gone? And what about tire tread?
