Hi all, Really annoying rattle coming from the surround around the center console air vents. If i slip some card behind its sooooo nice and peaceful. How do i take this surround off without damaging it so I can try to do something more permanent? Cheers compadres :thumb:
I think it is screwed in under side trim. I would take off the lower bits and look for screws. See here for the lower bits: http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=53062

loco-ola has a 98 C2. Wasn't aware 996.2 differed, yes I know it has bigger vents/cup holder, but not that it came apart differently.
Thanks Guys, you are legends as always! GT4 on the ball as ever. Will give it a try tonight. GT4 haven't you put some foam or something behind your console bits to stop the rattle? Or did i imagine reading that? Both possible if so any advice here? :?:
