Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have know of any shop qualified to work on a 986 in the Easton MD or surrounding areas? Having no luck finding anyone. I know there are options in Annapolis and Baltimore areas but hoping to find an option closer.

POST 2Original post

Have you checked with your local chapter of the Porsche Club of America?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, good idea. Just contacted the MD PCA.

https://www.pcarshops.com/search?q=easton%20md can't vouch for any of them but it does give you a search ability after you put in your location. I got two pages out of it. Good luck. A good mechanic or shop is precious especially as these cars age. I sold mine precisely because I moved to where there wasn't one near.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
