Yes that's all correct - but skip over the part about Nitric acid - I've used that and it is very caustic - a powerful acid, and not something really relevant here.

OK after reading that I am history. I will not tolerate rusty pipes, so I guess I am going to have to just get out my magnetic miracle tape and remove the iron I deposited when cleaning, or should I just get them chromed? I don't think I would have been satisfied with them anyway (good rational) so chromed ones were in the future, now I guess I have no choice. Aloha Rusty
