Now that it is getting darker earlier, can notice the yellowish lighting in the interior (map lights, footwell lights, door lights etc). Has anyone upgraded all the bulbs for a more whiter light? What bulbs do you recommend? I was thinking of LEDs but understand that they can burn the loom if they dont have correct resistors...

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I believe companies like AceParts (who, as far as my experience goes, have been responsible and helpful) can advise the best LEDs. They sell various interior capsule/festoon bulbs (AFAIK with in-built resistors).
Cool will check. Just picked up a pair of litronics from eBay which should improve the standard 1999 lights no end. Need to de-yellow the rest of it

Hi there mate, can you get a picture of your car in the dark with these various lights on if its not too much trouble, would really appreciate it. As I'm also looking into doing this! After having done my 8000K HID bulbs, LED sidelights and LED numberplate bulbs, the interior is all that is left!
Try www.ultraleds.co.uk I use them regular, their range has built in resistors making them run at lower temp than a typical bulb. There is a thread on here somewhere where I upgraded the door opening lights to Leds, the difference amazed me, open the door to get mini-flood lights to light up the floor you are about to stand on. I will hunt my photobucket to see if I can locate the image URL

NICE!! I like them! Gives a modern look as oppose to the old skool 'yellow' look
Exactly the reason I did it, it freshes up the look and takes 5 minutes to install. :thumb:
