I have a PCM2.1 non-bose unit that has a 2-channel amp in the front trunk. I want to add the rear speaker kit to the car. I bought a separate amp for the rear speakers. Is there a way to program the PCM2.1 to fade between the factory amp and the rear speaker amp? Or will I have to live with whatever the front/rear volume level turns out to be? The rear amp is 70 watts/channel at 4 ohms and 90 at 2 ohms. I'm not sure what the power of the oem amp is. Anyone know? Also, do the Pioneer speakers that come with the rear speaker kit sound pretty good, or should I order it without the speakers and install something else? Will 4" fit in the kit? NEVERMIND! I just bought this car and assumed (yes, I know) it had the storage compartment installed. Just to be on the safe side I just checked to make sure. IT DOESN'T! So now what are my options for rear speakers?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination.
