I found a guy selling a dension gw500 but for a merc and not porsche . He said the fiber optic looms might not work properly since they are made for the benz. I am planning on going to take a look at it, but i was wondering what i should look for to make sure it works on my cayman :cheers:
Yes you need the fiber optic connectors for Porsche and the porsche optic loom needed for the Cayman (About $75-$85 I think), which may or may not work with this GW500. You might be better off taking advantage of Eric's special sales pricing on the GW500 from BUmper Plugs - BumperPlugs
Thanks for the info k-man, he was selling the gw500 for $120 so it was much lower than even the most special of special sales prices thanks for the help though.. are those optic looms sold by porsche or by dension? :thanks:
You wont need one for the Cayman . Its only for the Cayenne that the additional cable is needed. Other than that the fibre optics are all the same in every other vehicles.
