Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Need help, had car up on a lift and first time for me under it. Noticed a (sensor) out of place. I could not get a picture but the tires shop had a mechanic and he looked at it. His thoughts was a suspension sensor, ride adjustment. It was not minted just tucked in under the rear axle. The wire was rubbing the axle and has left a small groove. The sensor is connected to car by a 8" bar going to a knuckle then a 1" bar to another knuckle then the sensor. We moved it around and the only place that the bolt hole would line up was above the the rear axle on the frame this is on the drivers side. Does anyone have a diagram or picture of the suspension area for me to reference?

Second link parts 18 thru 22. I have a 2000 with factory litronics. From the diagram and landrovered it looks like a sensor and I guess headlights. What a place for them. It has been in the wrong place since I owned it. How does this work in with the headlights.
