Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My social media has been full of "Xmas Tree on Expensive Porsche" photos.... Pretty sure 99% of them are staged with a carefully placed cloth in the roof and the tree not even strapped down... Except for the Keanu Reeves one - that's from years ago and that 993 got stolen anyway - but good man Keanu...keeping it real.

POST 2Original post

Merry Christmas Ho-Ho-Ho (nahh it was staged, but the Thules were properly attached and I was testing them... I had already collected the tree.)

This turned up on Christmas eve, sent unsolicited by Porsche as a gift. So maybe it’s a thing (Christmas trees on Porsches).

POST 8Original post

No Xmas trees but I've taken the hay in with my 996 - rear wing makes an excellent bail holder.

POST 9Original post

Had an outboard motor in the back of mine, beat that... a 9.9hp not some weedy chainsaw engined 2hp!

POST 11Original post

It makes me cringe everytime I see it. It takes attention seeking to a whole new level.

POST 12Original post

Not a Christmas tree. But once when the van broke down I loaded the 993 with tools and headed off to install a kitchen id made for a customer. Tools in the front, tools in the footwell and tools on the folded down rear seats. Luckily it was summer time as the 1.8 metre spirit level had to stick through the sunroof
