What do you think of this bumper? I generally like it, not sure if it would look right without the side skirts though.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Who is it by?
It's available on e-bay on the cheap, not from a major player. xtrememotorcars.com is the source. Looks sort of like a combo of techart and a 997 bumper.
Hard to tell how it looks on that black car.
How much is on the cheap? What it looks like to me is a standard 997 aerokit front bumper where the parking lights have been removed and replaced with 2 small round lights ala the old Strosek 993 design.
It's listed at $1650 which seems like a bargain compared to some of the more name brand bumpers. I'm not really serious about buying it but I do like the styling.
If you send me a link I will see if I can find out some more info for you, see if they want to become a sponsor, offer discounts to members, etc.
I don't really fancy those four little foglight inserts.
same here, the two different holes for the fog lights almost make the front of the car look bug-ish.....I do like the looks of the car with the side skirts though
I spoke to them and tried to get an actual pic of the product, but I still haven't seen it yet. Another thing is that it's made of fiberglass if i'm correct and in NYC, it's flip of coin...even if it's in a garage. I'm gonna wanna see it raw, before I buy it...just my two cents
My honest opinion... I think it looks a little too busy, particularly the side skirts. And I would be very, very skeptic of its fitment. Most kits out there fit very poorly and requires 20-40 hours of body work to fit nicely. Some never do...
I have had experience with several kits on various cars and I stay away from anything fiberglass. It chips way too easy and if you do any freeway driving you end up having to paint the thing every two years to keep it looking good.
What are those wheels? They look good.
drburton , I actually don't mind the look, but would have the same hesitation others have expressed about fiberglass bumpers. Have you considered a simpler alternative like adding a Sportec chin spoiler to your existing bumper? It's amazing how much difference a minor enhancement like this can make: 2006 Sportec Porsche Boxster SP 370 - Front And Side - 1024x768 - Wallpaper 2006 Sportec Porsche Boxster SP 370 - Front Angle - 1280x960 - Wallpaper 2006 Sportec Porsche Boxster SP 370 - Side - 1280x960 - Wallpaper 2006 Sportec Porsche Boxster SP 370 - Spoiler Badging - 1280x960 - Wallpaper
