Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello, I know this was a problem on some 06 Cayman S and there was thread on the fix by the dealer. The dealer fix was to reloaded the microcode to include the heated seats option in the system configuration. This started happening when the battery got drained and replaced. So my question is if I bring this to the dealer and they reload this microcode, will it affect my ECU flash? My guess is that it won't but I just wanted to make sure. Let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks.
