Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Noticed that the brake light in spoiler on my 996t is loose, ie is able to move from side to side and not locked in position. How should this be secured ? Will I have to strip away trim under the spoiler to gain access to it ? Appreciate any feedback on this

POST 2Original post

The lamp has a spring clip at one end which needs compressing to remove the lamp. I seem to remember that you can insert a flat blade screwdriver on the right hand end of the lamp and push it left. The spring will then compress and you'll be able to pop-out the lamp.

POST 4Original post

The one in my (Cup) spoiler isn't working and I have just discovered that someone glued the unit in so it will be destroyed to repair it............
