Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been shopping 996's. There are still a lot of '01's out there competing with the new and improved '02's. Surely, the factory must be offering some rebate allowance to dealers to help move those '01's. Does anyone have any information on whether that's the case? Thanks much!

POST 2Original post

Doubtful. Typically dealers are more willing to part with inventory at a number closer to their cost than when those models first hit the floors. Although there may be incentives in the form of larger allocations to dealers who move a larger volume of vehicles.

POST 3Original post

dont we all wish! come on you are paying over 70k for a basic C2 and you want a rebate.

POST 4Original post

The dealers I've talked to all say "no".... but in the east, invoice plus a few hundred dollars will carry the day....but watch out for dealer fees and overhead charges they try to add to the true invoice from PCNA....always ask to see or get a copy of the PCNA invoice along with a full disclosure purchase order...Good Luck
