Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

looks dodgy to me. it appear to be a way of altering the signal reported by a lambda sensor to the ecu . i guess the intent is to cause the ecu to think the engine is running lean, so that more fuel is added. this is likely to make the engine run rich instead - not a good idea. i think the cayman has 4 lambda sensors, one before the cat, and one after, for each bank of cylinders. i'd think you would need four of these widget to keep the engine and ecu happy and not light up the check engine light. by the way, if you had an engine problem, i would think porsche could easily tell that you had used one of the widgets just by looking at the stored OBD data.
Ditto to everything Kurand said.....
And there's a bridge for sale in New York City I'd like you to have a look at too... brad
My thoughts exactly...the mechanics are dicey to say the least. Well, you know someone will take the fall
I have a $70,000 German sports car. I don't think I'll be buying cheap parts from a guy in Hungary. Mike
