have a 996 2000 cab & was wondering if anyone else has this problem if the soft-top is closed on even the slightest incline, the alarm fails (you hear the dreaded "beep" and recyling eventually sets it right again. Carlsen Porsche in Palo Alto tried to diagnose the problem over 3 days and came up with nothing......even showed me that the diagnostic equipment showed nothing after we got the alarm to fail Unfortunately this is not always reproducable. PCNA has no advice.... thx

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
