Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I'm on my way to installing my Pioneer 4100. I have the amps in, speakers in, wiring done...all but one thing. I took apart the dash as mentioned in all the articles. I turned the allen thingies to release the radio, but no workee. It won't budge. Now one of the little black allen things has come out. I've pushed on the tabs with a screwdriver, but they don't seem to move much. Help!

POST 2Original post

Guess what I forgot? The bolt on the right hand side!! I just went back and reviewed one of the write-ups...turned the dials and they said...wait...they don't want you to take the radio out, so they bolted it in too! Duh! It's been a long day!
