Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Has anyone seen these before? the seller says that they are also available in silver carbon fiber...? I'm not sure i would put them on my car but they are definetly interesting. Kind of reminds me of the older 911's with the big black guards like that. eBay Motors: PORSCHE 987 BOXSTER S CARBON FIBER STONE PROTECTED TRIM (item 280154661743 end time Sep-25-07 14:55:09 PDT)

POST 2Original post

I bought a set. They don't fit the Cayman. Our cars don't have the same flange at the bottom. In fact I still need to try to send mine back. I wish they did fit. They are pretty cool looking IMO.

POST 3Original post

But of course almost totally unnecessary since your Cayman has clear film in that area.

POST 4Original post

They are used to protect the clear film from stones.
