Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All - just a gentle reminder that it's autumn, there are loads of dead leaves about, and if you don't have the grills in the front bumper you need to get your wife or girlfriend to get their arm in there to clear out the dead leaves when you wash the car We all know the consequences of leaving them......

POST 2Original post

I get my wife to one side and my girlfriend does the other - keeps 'em both happy I suppose 8)

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

At least your not doing it yourself - your job is to drive it !

POST 4Original post

That is a wonderful image  No offence to your girlfriend.

POST 5Original post

Thanks for the reminder - 1st 911 so hadnt occured to me - just scooped a load of wet dead leaves outta there - gonna invest in some discreet mesh me thinks. PJ :thumb:

POST 6Original post

Not sure if I'm missing something here but I checked mine out when cleaning it at the weekend, and there were no leaves in it whatsoever. Standard facelift C2 front bumper, no mesh, no leaves. :dont know:

POST 7Original post

Ant, I had to poke around in the far corners of the Rads to the extreme left and right of the car, there was a load of claggage in there. You have to get your fingers right in the corners. PJ

POST 8Original post

:useless: I bet the introductions were interesting..

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ant - you must be just lucky. Yours is the same as mine, and I think you drive it about as much as me so you would expect something in there? Get a torch and have a good look right in the corner - I have to get my wife to get them out because they are always hemmed in right in the corner, so you need someone with skinny girly arms. Don't forget that this is the single biggest cause for knackered air con rads !

See how the crud builds: Do a search for "grills" etc: http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=51912 http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=55868 http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=55116 http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=52852 ...

POST 11Original post

Hmm, interesting vid GT4, thanks! Just to appease everyone on 911UK I will try and check it out this weekend and post pics if it is indeed 'leaf-free'. It's the missus' birthday this weekend though so I may not be able to get away with spending half the day removing leaves from my front bumper, but I'll give it a go...
