Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If anyone has the RGT front bumper on their 996, can you tell me if you have clearance issues often. Thanks

POST 2Original post

I am considering purchasing this bumper as well. What pricing and availability have you been able to obtain on this bumper. I have inquired to RUF in Germany and they are very difficult to communicate with. Thanks

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have received a price list for all their modifications for the 996. They have stopped doing full conversions for the 996 C2/C4 while they concentrate on the 996 Turbo, so the parts must now all be purchased individually as I best understood it. The bumper is DM 2480, which right now is roughly $1200. This probably comes unpainted, and will require installation fees as well. Stefania Corporation is a US distributor of RUF and can probably help you with details on purchasing. Their website is currently being redone, but you can keep checking to see when it comes back online by going to www.rufautomobile.com.

I have this on my Cab, clearance is similar to normal

POST 5Original post

I believe that Stefania corp is no longer an authourized US distributor for RUF. It is now Weissach Performance http://www.weissach.com I autocrossed a RUF Turbo R that Weissach built with RUF technicians that flew down. The car is flat out amazing. Having autocrossed several twin turbos including one that had the full GT2 suspension on it, I was in awe at the Turbo R's performance. How about wheelspin in 2nd gear when the turbos kick in! In their showroom right now, they have what looks like an RGT. Farzaan
