New to the Porsche community, thought I'd say hi! Previous cars: Had the 987.2 for 3 weeks now, what a car. Amazing chassis and feedback from what a sports car should be like. Engine obviously feels a little down compared to my E92 M3 and boosted 135i, but that's not what these cars are all about. I have been looking for a gen 2 specifically for a while and this has been the best spec car I have seen, although have sacrificed Bose which I did ideally want. Spec: Arcitc Silver Metallic, electric sports seats, PCM 3.1, nav and BT phone, sound package plus, sports chrono, factory short shift and factory LSD. I have started making the car my own, as I do with all my cars. Currently fitted a top gear valved cat back exhaust (always in loud mode), 7mm/15mm, spacers and fresh shiny extended wheel bolts and I have Eibach Pro springs to fit. Would love to hear people's thoughts and also what they would do with the car next modifications wise or just to leave it alone and look after it

Hi reecey97! car looks nice.... if you like audio, the non bose would actually be easier to modify but dont do too much to take away the flat 6 music! curious to know how the 1M compares to the cayman .... enjoy in good health!
Hi mate, I did consider going for full coilovers but I think the springs will be adequate for my needs and without breaking the bank too much!!! Still enjoying the flat 6, good enough music for me!!! Unfortunately mine wasn't a 1M, but a 135i, but with 400bhp and 600nm of torque so it did shift! The cayman feels underpowered compared to the BMWs but the handling and grip is in a different league!
Eibach Springs fitted, full major service including plugs and belts done and now booked in for front end spray and potentially getting the wheels refurbished. Not sure whether to keep the silver oem wheel finish or something different??? Also had the car round Brands... Mega!!!
