Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I've just joined the forum as tomorrow I will be collecting my 996 Turbo. I've had a C2 previously, but am looking forward to tomorrow afternoon! Is there a list of things to do in a Turbo (track days, particularly good roads, etc.)?? Thanks in advance. Gideon

POST 3Original post

Welcome to 911uk A remap and tubi would be my 'to do list on a turbo ! But enjoy the car first,

POST 4Original post

Welcome! I picked up my Turbo not too long ago and I'm loving it Not sure where you are based, but if down south, then the A272 is a great road. Just unfortunatly it gets quite busy. There is also the Evo triangle (just google it) that has been made famous by Evo magazine. You'll probably find the Turbo is very quiet, so I'd second the vote for a new exhaust. Enjoy!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks! In rural Lincolnshire, so a bit far away from the Evo Triangle - will look into exhausts! G

POST 7Original post

Depends whereabout in Lincs - it's all fairly rural and traffic free! I live South Lincs and the roads between Bourne and Lincoln and over to Boston are fun, East to Spalding is a bit flat and straight... I think there's a bike route Sleaford Horncastle way - I'll have a look.

POST 8Original post

Welcome to the forum, Gideon! :bye: Is that your car in your avatar pic? It's so small I can't make out if it's a turbo or a C4S with a spoiler (or even a GT2) but I've not seen a turbo in red before - looks very smart... 8)
