Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm getting myself organised to DIY my IMS & RMS so i'm in the process of getting the various bits & pieces together for these jobs. I'm making an engine brace and TDC lock as those can be done with hand tools but as I am sans lathe at the moment I figure I might just have to buy a decent tool for seating the RMS squarely to the correct depth. I've found the SirTool 996 rear oil arbour in the US but I don't see a UK/EU supplier of something similar (I have ordered a Baum tools catalogue but I don't know if they do such a tool or not as I couldn't find that out online). So if any of you guys with more local knowledge can point me towards a specialist tool supplier in the EU that would be great.

Give Autofarm or Hartech a ring and see if they can point you in the right direction, they must have got the tool from somewhere... :thumb:

Have you looked online at Snap on? We're an agent for snap on so I might be able to get you discount - which if you know anything about snap on, is nigh on impossible..!! Just a thought :dont know:

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Amazing timing - only a few hours before reading this post I ordered some new snap on ratchets (F-80 & T72). Such is life! Thanks for the tip Stuart.
