Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Does the 981 Boxster and 981 Cayman share the same screen or are they different profiles?

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It’s weird. I can’t find an answer to this when googling either.

I'm no parts expert but,,,,, Boxster parts catalogue - https://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalpart... Cayman parts catalogue - https://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalpart... Search for windscreen - they list different part numbers..... Best bet is to call you OPC and get them to state the part number needed

POST 4Original post

When you turn them on, I think they show the model on the screen for a few seconds, so that may explain the difference?

I thought the Boxster always had a shallower angle screen than the Cayman? Same with the 986 vs 996, shorter screen in the Boxster.
