Has anyone used this installation kit? 997 987 Models Aftermarket Double DIN Radio Stereo Installation Dash KIT Install | eBay It seems to be the same as the euromotorspeed kit everyone says is great but is 60 bucks cheaper than I've seen at other places.
haven't seen it, but why take the chance? Get one of Loi's from EuroMotorSpeed. Lots of us have bought from him w/ great success... and it is only a few bucks more.
Loi's kit includes support from him, and he's the best in the business. Why buy from anyone else for the sake of a couple of bucks?
Loi's installation instructions and personal service are priceless. Also, this kit appears to be available only in the silver finish to match Gen I 987s.
Agree with everyone else, look for Euro Motorspeed Double Din kits on Ebay. This is without Bose
Update: This seller is in the Tampa area, as is Loi (Euromotorspeed) I can't verify that this isn't Loi's business - although he would of had to greatly expand his product line (seller has over 218000 transactions on ebay) . I'm still looking for any links that tie them together. However Euromotorspeed still has it's own ebay store - so I doubt he'd be competing with himself by undercutting his own prices. BTW Florida BBB has 2 outstanding complaints against autoware302 and google found a few other complaints. But the seller seems to respond in a reasonable fashion. The seller does have a product to accomodate the Bose harness, but I didn't see any mention of a Can-bus adapter.
Agreed. Loi's service if you need assistance is more then worth the few extra bucks.

Let me add one more to the Loi bandwagon! Exceptional customer service, he truly exceeds all my expectations and I'm a picky bastard! Loi has a proven product and proven support, just buy from Euro Motorspeed!!
When buying on eBay I always look at feedback and read the reasons for negative comments. Loi's is 100% positive. The other seller ... not so good with reports of poor customer service, no follow-up with problems, failure to deliver, broken parts, etc. Simply, "60 bucks cheaper" may turn out to be $190 more expensive. I bought from Loi based upon the many positive comments here, both to have confidence in my purchase, and to reward a vender who clearly cares about customer service. YMMV :cheers:
