Hi Guys New to the Forum, apologies if this is an old topic... I have a friend who has just aquired a 2004 911 Turbo, and would like to know if it has Bluetooth Functionality. We have been through the manual and found that you can insert your SIM card straight into the dash (Which seems easy but not a exercise that you would want to perform everytime you get in and out of the car). So is there a bluetooth feature hidden away in there? Cheers. Luca

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi and :welcome: Unfortunately the SIM card is the only way of using the telephone functionality in the car unless you fit an aftermarket unit.
No Bluetooth on the 996 series but what many of us do is buy a Pay As You Go SIM, slot that into the SIM drawer and divert calls from the mobile to that. Works a treat. ~ Maxie :thumb:
Luca try a search for Mobridge on the forum, it s a clever box of tricks than some rate highly that adds bluetooth and ipod functionality!
Awesome, Thanks for your help Guys. Much appreciated :thumb:
