Hi my misses boxster battery went flat and it needs a keycode i rung porsche which the closes one is 70 miles away they said with my chassis and radio code they dont match must of had a replacement one at some point or a tape to cd they want £20+ vat and want to see the car to make sure ive not about to nick one . i totally understand that but is there a cheaper and easyer way around this ? its a cdr-22 becker unit just removed it and there are no stickers on the side saying model or serial numbers .bummer and no key code written in my books i can give u chassis and reg if anyone knows away round or is there a man who can get the code by pluging in something ?

I have a Becker decoder which decodes it from the last 4 digits of the serial number. To get the serial number: Hold down the TP button for at least 10 seconds after you turn the radio on. "Becker 1" will be displayed. Rotate the right knob (slowly) and it will display the Becker model number. Then rotate it again and the serial number should be displayed on the radio. PM it to me and I'll send you the code.
