Back in 03 I started modifying my exhausts. We even opened them up to figure out the mechanics. Remember the 3.4 vs 3.6 can discussions? There are several cottage companies that will mod your exhaust now (PSE Bypass or Gundo hack etc) A buddy of mine who owns a muffler shop and has always done my work were talking and came up with a new mod. It is a twist on the input to output mod. More sound. But tame with no drone at speed. Here are a few videos of the exhaust sound. Once he gets back from vacation I will post pictures of the actual mod. Any decent muffler shop in your town can do this for under $300 or less. As we are all a community I figured I would share http://www.thebartman.com/exhaust/1.mp4 http://www.thebartman.com/exhaust/2.mp4 http://www.thebartman.com/exhaust/3.mp4 http://www.thebartman.com/exhaust/4.mp4

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Sounds great Tim, and I like the carpet under your spotless 911.
Nice!
I'd like to find someone to do a PSE type mod on my stock Turbo muffler. Know anyone that does this? BTW, how do you like the Cab?
Love it so far! Going for a drive today Nick, where are you located? Steve: Thanks, I am a little OCD with my garage.
Sounds good! Looking good, too!
I like it! So what exactly did you do?
3 in oval Pipe between the input and output. I ill have pictures next week
Sounds clean
i have to ask...what kind of tag is that on your car!??
Temp tag. Need to get plates
Loving the sound!! Looking forward to some info! -Paul
Do you get any drone at all?
Zero.................Drone
So is your exhaust 3.4 or 3.6?
So any info?? pics of from where to where the hack is? Thanks Paul
The guy that did the work will be back from vacation tomorrow. I will have him send pictures

They look great!
sooo... any pics of the mod itself?? Thanks, Paul
Well Paul....... Here they are. 3in ovaled pipe. This was the first prototype AND there are extra cuts in there as I asked them to put my special tips on (from my TT). I am going to try to make a driving movie. The exhaust is aggressive when you are on it and silent when just cruising. These guys have been doing my exhausts for years www.budsmuffler.com . Talk to Mike. Cost was $295.00 Without further adieu
excellent! Thanks so much for the picture! So I guess the only difference in this and the Fister D is that this is a 3 inch oval pipe instead of the typical 1-2 inch pipe used in Fister D's thanks, Paul
Hmmmm...should I mod my Mille Miglias? Hmmmmmmm
This is a great mod. And to pay a company the $$ they charge you could save and go to a local shop. It is not hard to do. Heck, that is why i said we were fiddling with this B4 these other companies marketed it as a "product". Now if the weather would cooperate I would shoot a driving video. Gotta love a CAB for that stuff
