I took the day off yesterday and went to the Grand Am races here at the Indy Brickyard. The Central Indiana PCA had the Porsche Platz in a pavilion at the track. While having lunch an official from the Speedway comes in to make an announcement.......starts with apology for short notice and proceeds to ask for 36 volunteers to hold grid signs in the pits so the 72 cars will know where to line up. I was with my wife and a few other married couples. The guys threw their hands in air to jump at the chance to be out there. A few woman did the same. We were led to the grid with signs in tow. Hotter than snot! But lordy it was COOL having the chance to do it. I tried to make off with some chilled champagne reserved for the winners but that's another story. Here are some pics..and some shameless ones too

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Aren't you supposed to wear a bikini when holding those signs? Oh wait that's boxing. :-)
I was heckled......"hey where's the cleavage grid boy?" Told the crowd I could only muster some plumber's crack.
Love the nookie girls. Looks like you hit the jackpot.
That's why they call you Sneaky!
Awesome...thanks for sharing Pete. I love Grand-Am, I attended the 24 Hrs. of Daytona this year and I hope to go back next year. I was actaully thinking of going to this historic race at Indy but given the weather I'm glad I chose not to make the trek. Great race though, you can't beat Porsche finishing 1st and 3rd. {On second thought, you can. Porsche almost finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd if it wasn't for Keen and Berg coming together at the end... }
nice!
Great pics Pete, you did alright at the brickyard, must have been a lot of fun.
Thanks Guys........it was a great time. 4 races in 3 days. Friday was the civilized racing, Sat / Sunday is completely different crowd. I like them both. Really wish the F1 would comeback. Also wish the IMS would be open to DE's on the road course.
