Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Nice demo of GM's stability control <delete> system.

POST 3Original post

Those guys are knuckleheads. I hate to see a wreck and the damage, but they hopefully learned a valuable lesson...

What? Turn left into someone?

POST 7Original post

Quotes source post: 9062605

well no... but something close to stupid like that.

POST 9Original post

I'll admit, I did that kind of thing a few times in my Firebird when I was 18. That was a long time ago, and I consider myself lucky that I didn't learn a lesson the hard way.

POST 10Original post

Pretty stupid what they did and more so in the street with pedestrians around. Lucky enough no one was hurt.

POST 11Original post

Don't want to see these guys at the track ......maybe behind an Xbox under strict supervision.

POST 15Original post

Ouch indeed! I'm not sure what the 'vette driver was thinking. It sounds like he was on the gas pretty hard before losing control...

POST 16Original post

It's as if he didn't even see the curb in the 2nd vid.

POST 17Original post

kinda odd the loss of control is very simular in both vids

POST 18Original post

Pristine vett for sale, never abused, slight curb rash on passenger side.

Looks like tire failure on the right lane car. What else would explain his total loss of control? Could he be that mind numbingly bad at driving?

POST 20Original post

Quotes source post: 9063114

Don't be so grownup.

POST 21Original post

The first vid is obvious why he lost control.....no. mechanical failure....listen and watch carefully... think about the weight of the car and that's exactly what you would expect

POST 22Original post

I like this thread...it makes fun of people in Corvettes..... Corvette cars and coffee parade driving...

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 9066448

WTFM???? Is it the demographic of the corvette driver or is the car that unstable?

POST 24Original post

Quotes source post: 9066877

Both! Most people that buy Vettes don't know how to drive to begin with. They probably had a Buick before it, or a Taurus... Vettes are amazing in many ways, but to experience it all, you need to be a good driver first foremost.

POST 25Original post

The second vid shows a poorly driven car and a poorly designed and setup AX course...you never have a course setup that close to immovable objects! Let's go street racing with a 400 HP car with no performance driving experience.. Both vids show nothing more than untrained drivers with too much HP at their disposal and too little talent. Buy a 996TT? Just kidding...or am I.

POST 27Original post

Like super dad in the first vid - what strikes me is that people nearly DIED in these crashes!! They could have been KILLED! They're lucky to be ALIVE!! OMG the speeds involved in each case were OUTRAGEOUS!!! Seriously though - bruised egos and wallets. Very entertaining but BFD otherwise.
