Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been trolling through various weight reduction threads but can't find an answer to the question of the weight difference between the OEM engine cover and the Mk1 Aero wing / taco wing. Anyone know the answer ?

POST 2Original post

My guess is ~20 lbs. The OEM is metal, with motor assemble, etc. The Taco wing is not metal and no electronics.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've found that the OEM GT3 wing weighs 8lbs, so if someone can weigh a standard engine cover with its electrics/spoiler attached that would be handy to answer the question.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
