Can someone please help me with where this backet part #2 in the photo connects? It mounts to one of the compressor hard lines connects and I can't figure out what it supports. John

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Power steering hose mount?
On a 2000, I think all of the PS hoses are hard lines and don't run behind the a/c compressor.
Here is another picture of the bracket under the intake. This an engine that will be going back in the car this week. I can't find and unsupported hoses that this would connect to. My final option will be taking the air box our of my 1999 and see where it's connected.
