Replaced IMS/RMS a few weeks ago and noticed a very slow leak coming from this part. *photo attached I cleaned it up a bit and will monitor where its coming from. Any ideas?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

IMS/RMS.....
Quotes source post: 20260728
i just got this done like 3 weeks ago.
They say its normal for the first 100-500 miles. Residual oil: Oil or sealant leftover from the job slowly dripping down Very common for 100 to 500 miles. New seal weeping: PTFE-style RMS or new IMS flange O-ring seeping a trace of oil before seating fully. Normal in early miles.
I occasionally have the same leak (same place as well) but not all the time. Not sure why but I had my RMS replaced about 1500 miles ago so it shouldn't be doing it...but......if it was done properly (which I'm sure it has been). I also thought maybe my oil pump gasket might be going bad (115k miles on the car now)
