The windows on my 2002 Cab rattle like crazy when driving on rough roads, bumps, etc. Both passenger and driver windows and happens when they are up or down. Any ideas what could be the cause? I've searched around, but most of the info relates to regulators, my windows go up and down just fine so that doesn't appear to be the issue here.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You need to pull the door panels off and see what is happening. The windows could be loose in the clamps on the window regulator or it could be that the window regulators are loose. Also, at the base of the window regulators are adjustments you can make to move the window in/out so that it puts more pressure against the window seal in the door. Or the door window seal could be worn out and not putting enough pressure on the glass to keep it from rattling. A minor adjustment might be all that is needed. Also, you can access the adjusters by removing the plastic plugs on the bottom of the door (look underneath the door). A bit tricky to figure those out but it might be all you need to do to apply a bit more pressure against the door window seal.
Great, thanks!
