Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Looking for a hard or soft copy of an OBD II Manual for DME 7.2. Can't seem to find anything. I know they are out there!

POST 2Original post

Is this what you are looking for? Amazon Amazon

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you DBJoe. I have the Bentley manual. I did not have the BMW DME 7.2 update, so that is somewhat helpful. I think there is a 996 specific manual as well. I have seen the one for the DME 7.8 and it is over 1000 pages long!

POST 4Original post

I've never seen an OBDII manual. If I get a code I usually just Google it. They are standard codes across all vehicle platforms. Not much help so sorry.

POST 5Original post

After looking at this to buy for 3 years. Just pulled the trigger. Thanks.

the 911 technical manual or PET? It's broken out from Group 0 - 9? http://arma.free.fr/porsche/996/GT3/...%20General.pdf I have it broken out into parts but too big to attach here.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
