Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have the non-adjustable type of windshield sprayer and my drivers side spray hits the hood. The previous owner did have a little piece of plastic stuck under it to angle it differently, but that doesn't seem to be working now. Is the only answer replacement?

POST 2Original post

For me the answer is, I've got to be going 20 mph or more...I have a feeling this will work for you as well I wonder if the hood can be adjusted on its hinges - I don't think mine did this until after I had some body work done...

POST 3Original post

Actually, I think the nozzles are adjustable. There are two nozzles per sprayer. Stick a wooden toothpick in the nozzle and see if you can move it (aim) up a little bit. You also might have something stuck in it, so undo the hose to the nozzle under the hood and blow some compressed air through the nozzle. Otherwise, replacement seems to be the answer. It should spray about midway up the windshield.

I actually do not have the adjustable nozzles with two, I only have the non-adjustable one nozzle. But, the compressed air trick may work. I'll try that. Thanks.
