Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

My son races the 919 in iRacing and it's unbelievable how fast the standard version of the 919 is relative to the GT3's and GTE's.
Geezuss
During my recent track days at Road Atlanta, I learned that there are two different paradigms you have to wrap your head around. The first is the limit of the tires and chasis. You can drive through corners much more quickly than you initially think you can. The second, which doesn't really apply to my 996, is aero. Cars with a lot of downforce can be driven at an even higher level. The faster you go, in many cases, the faster you can take the turn. It is counterintuitive.
There are some really good vids out there on this car at the different race tracks on which it crushed previous records. It is so fast it doesn't appear to be real, but it is! Goosebumps...
Pretty good performance for a 2.0 liter V4 . The "hybrid" element in the 919 (Evo and standard) adds massive power burst ability -- something like 400+ flat-torque hp added instantly when the electric motor kicks in.
