can anyone tell me where I can find the accelerator control (996 423 019 03) with the attached pedal sensor in the ws manual? Easy to find in the catalog (see attachment), .... thanks Bernd

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

What do you need to know about it? Removal/installation or disassembly?
Disassembly. And if available as well the resistace of a good part over the turning angle. I did find a sketch in the catalogue, but not good enough. Cheers Bernd
To the above: I am talking here about the poti, or position sensor. The pedal is hardly at fault...
You have fault codes popping up? I am interested in the follow up of this topic.

It's behind the dash close to your right knee. You can see it from below or feel it by hand.
in an act of artistic lying on the back head down dive into the foot well close to panic I took out the sensor (2 M6 nuts 10mm socket) and measured resistance, seemed all fine. Discovered then that the pedal itself is normally clicked into a spherical ball joint and that was out. Clicked in and will now go for a drive.... Have a great day, Bernd
