Good evening and happy Easter everybody. I have this problem on my 996: yesterday evening I took the car and headlights seemed ok. Then, I activated the right direction indicator and the front right didnt work. But in the same moment also right headlight turned off and didnt work no more. Somebody of you experienced this issue? I have xexon headlights and I would suspect a xexon control unit faultbut I dont know if it has some correlation with direction indicator. Thank you.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It is quite possible that some of the wires are shorted around/in the headlight. The insulation on the headlight wires degrades, cracks, and falls off over time.
And/or the plug is not seated well. U can access it by removing the tire and fender liner.
