Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Singer graciously invited the local PCA chapter to tour their shop in sun Valley today. Cameras were off limits inside the shop but we were allowed to take pics outside. Our tour was given by Seamus. A hysterically satirical and friendly Irishman and Singers 5th employee (being Scottish I appreciated the sarcasm). The attention to detail this company puts into its cars is simply mind blowing. Case in point, Seamus detailed how the distance the door handle must travel to unlock the door has to be 13mm. No more, no less. They had around 6 or 7 cars in the shop in various stages of construction. From a bare, freshly media blasted shell to a couple cars 6-8 weeks from completion. The paint quality is unlike anything Ive ever seen. Flawless. Panel gaps are mm perfect all around. You can see why these cars cost half a million bucks a piece. Hats off the Singer for taking time out of their weekend to show us their facility.

Nice! Hope to get to check it out someday. I have never seen one in person but I bet they are amazing. I wonder if they will ever do 996's?

Well, guess what Seamus daily drives??? Yup, a 996. I was the only PCA member in the parking lot (30 of us) with a 996 but it didnt faze me one bit. There was a GT3, GT4, a RUF, an 84 RSR tribute car amongst others, but I got a few nice compliments on my car.

I'm sure they'll do your 996 for $500K...

Yeah, and it would still be a $20K car!
