Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Can anyone point me to the (aerokit/gt3) side skirts in the PET? My 2002 has really nice looking, but period incorrect side skirts - MKI skirts on a MKII car. I'd like to update them to the correct version, but can't seem to locate them anywhere in the factory parts diagrams. Thanks in advance for any pointers.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That more than helps, that is perfect. I spent like an hour poking through the PET at Sunset Porsche and couldn't find them. I really appreciate the help. Thank you!!

Those parts are identified in the (TEQ_USA_KATALOG), which is the Porsche Tequipment Products PET..

Lots of people are contacting me about selling my Aero I side skirts. Thanks for the interest. I'll let you all know if I end up buying the Aero II skirts, and selling the Aero I skirts. But, I haven't decided if I am going to replace them with the Aero I yet. $800 in parts plus paint work is a lot for side skirts. I suspect they are both equally functional at speeds that I drive, so it is mostly about aesthetics. And, it appears that the 2002 was a strange model year where the Aero I skirts were the only ones available for some time (X76 option?, or dealer installed), so you get a mixture of some cars with the Aero I side skirts and others with the Aero II. It might actually be period correct for my car, so why mess with it... The GT3 RS all seemed to come through with the Aero II style skirts, which looks great. Although I think the aero II side skirts are a better match for the lines of the MKII car, but at the end of the day it is just personal preference. For anyone who can't wait, that link above has the Aero II skirts for $777, and if you search a bit on the Suncoast site, they have the Aero I skirts for $995. If any one wants to trade Aero II for my Aero I, drop me a line. An even swap could work out for both of us.
