Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your videos on YouTube, keep up the good work!
Enjoyed your video very much. Cheers, Jack! Your friend has put together a nice little car for a fraction of the budget for a GT3. I sub'd to your channel, looks like there are plenty more videos you've made that I'll like. As an aside - I don't know how you locals bomb down those country roads with so much confidence the way you do. Last fall I drove in Wales and Cornwall and those little B-roads gave me night terrors. As my host in Cornwall very appropriately stated, "I'm sure, to you, they feel like C-roads!" I came nose-to-nose with a tractor and very quickly brushed up on my reversing skills!
Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
Sold when I saw the taco wing
Nice solid sounding car ! Thanks.
I got a nice laugh from the sleeping pics.
Great video Always good to see positive posts on our cars
Thanks guys! Always had a soft spot for 996s from when I did my fist video of a convertible c2 in Italy 2 years ago. It was so much better than I expected!! enjoy the cars chaps! Im definitely going to own one at some point
This is EXACTLY what I just bought last weekend. Thanks for sharing!!
Good video. Thank you.

Ha!! Yes, those roads can be less than ideal.. but you do get used to it!! Well done, great cars!!
I am actually building a 996 C2 aero right now that I think will end up being better than a 997 GT3 on both power, handling and sound. It has been a several month project and should be done by the end of the month at Dundon Motorsports. Plan to post details soon...some teasers follow
what in heavens name are those headers..
Custom headers made by Dundon Motorsports....
The biggest difference between the C2 Modded to GT3 specs will be re-sale. If it's just performance you're looking for, and you want to save some cash the modded C2 is the way to go...
The resale point is absolutely true....I will never get close to what I put in it. In fact this is costing me about the same as a GT3. But there is a back story on why I did it and also the same reason why I would never sell the car....at least while I am capable of driving it.
Is that fourth tube out of the header a dump pipe for the track? We need a post on those headers alone...
You will get one dump in a couple of weeks....right now its top secret.

theres also the satisfaction of bulfing your own personal project!! Its not about money mostly. Ive plowed about 35k in my 964 most of which is lost

Exactly....what I am finding is the journey is more fun then the destination....

Lol, I suspected that was the case (after I asked about the extra pipe in another thread) . My guess is some sort of volume/pulse the tuner has up their sleeve.
from experience you will never get back the money u spend on a car...but damn is it worth it.. those header are a work of art.. the 4th runner is interesting..looks like someone know what they are doing.. do they make headers that fir the stock location? for people who already have mufflers and highflow cats and dont want to start from scratch?

Are you really expecting 997 GT3 power out of an M97. Did you bore out the engine? Color me intrigued....
Its only 415HP for a 997.1 GT3....Hoping to beat it. I will post Dyno tests when we are done.
I'm looking forward to that.
I think one thing this video highlights is how rewarding it can be to modify these cars . the right suspension mods , i.e. Coilovers , polybushes, bigger swaybars and these cars are transformed . many 996s sitting on mostly original underpinnings will feel a bit baggy by now , even on a low mileage car . Even just renewing the suspension with bushes and mo30 will give you huge grins add a limited slip diff and things get really interesting . ive got a set of fab speed headers and 200 cell cats I'm going to match with a valvetronic switchable exhaust next , mods get addictive .

That's how you know you are doing it right. Make your investments in the market. Spend your fun money on the car.
