Hi everyone, Noticed our '99 C2 Cabrio was not handling well with the steering feeling a little loose and noisy. Took it to our local indy shop and they are suggesting we need new shocks / struts and mounts all around (car has ~37.5k miles, but I realize the suspension can age out and need replacement). I'm used to Porsche maintenance pricing being high, but the shop quoted me $4,400 for the job. Does this sound reasonable? It seems pretty high for me (this is for B6 Bilstens). Also, is there any issue with me splitting up the job and just doing the front this year and then budgeting to do the rear next year? We only drive it about 1500-2000miles a year in the summertime. Just want to make sure I'm doing my due diligence. Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

$4400 for just springs and shocks seems excessive. Are they possibly including other suspension bits, like multiple control arms, end links, or tie rods?
