Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

P3Cars says the Cayenne gauge they have will work in a 996. I've been looking for a coolant temp gauge to supplement the cluster (not really sure what to make of the various discussions about the cluster gauge) that avoids having to install a temp sensor. The P3Car's system taps into OBD2, and since the Durametric system seems to work pretty well, I assume the OBD2 data is sufficient. Go directly to their website (shouldn't be too hard). The various retailers I've seen seem to think they are entitled to make a lot of coin as resellers. I have no relationship to the company.
