Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2011 Pathfinder has electronic locks. Was locked when battery went completely dead. Key fob won't work. Key inside the fob won't work either. It turns but no unlocking occurs. It must have an electrical component as well as mechanical. The door lock has not been damaged and worked with this key in the past when the car battery was charged. The hood unlatch cable is not accessible. I can't get my grill off without getting the hood open. I don't think a slimjim will work because of the electric locks. Any other ideas out there?
