My drivers side seat cap broke and needs to be replaced. This is the part that covers the hinge. I have the part coming but am having trouble getting the plastic push pin out of the frame as it is behind the leather seat bottom trim. Power seats with memory. Has anyone replaced this piece that can offer some me some advice? I really don't want to have to remove the seat. Thanks.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

not 100% sure but I highly doubt this can be done WITHOUT seat removal
If you find you need to remove the seat, an electric impact wrench is your best friend.
