Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thinking of installing a set of Feal coilovers on my 996TT. Not many over in the Turbo section have used them. How is the mono/pillow ball front top mount treating those here that installed them? Is the NVH increased? Any knocking over bumps? Has anyone gone back to OEM rubber top mounts?

POST 2Original post

I am running them with upgraded radial bearing, no noticeable NVH, great ride and performance, better than OEM ride.and LOL wife complemented the better ride.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear. What is the upgraded bearing all about?

POST 4Original post

basically less friction in front wheel turning left to right or right to left, and they are sealed bearings.

POST 5Original post

I have this setup with the radial bearings as well. Ride is good and the handling is much improved. Not sure if you care about the stance, but that is also just right now. I did not like the look and feel of the stock ride height at all. Spend time to dial in your damping and dont set it too soft. Most people on Feals set the the clocks around 23-26 front and 23-26 rear out of 30 clicks.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the input. Bearing upgrade has been added to my order. Will work the settings after install.
